The semi-automaticSMART-FLEX DEPOT offers efficient storage capacity for a wide range of goods. Continuous inventory reconciliation between picking machines and the inventory management system also prevents stockouts.
During storage, the barcode on the respective container is scanned before the item is placed on a specially defined and visible area on the storage conveyor. After that, no further manual intervention is required. The items are placed in rows, but do not have to be placed by type, as the scan already transmits all the essential parameters for the subsequent internal process within the machine.
